HOW DO I RENT A CATA BUS OR THE CATA TROLLEY FOR A SPECIAL EVENT?

On April 30,2008 the Federal Transit Administration issued new regulatuions that address the difference between public and private operations in the Federal Register 49 CFR Part 604.  Transit Authorities such as CATA can no longer offer services that compete with private operators in our service area.  In order to provide a non-public service, CATA must notify and receive prior approval through various means addressed in the Federal Register 49 CFR Part 604.  In sum, CATA can no longer accept Trolley rentals or rent other buses to your group unless you are a Qualified Human Service Organization and pre-registered with the Federal Transit Administration.
