CATA releases construction documents for public bid

On Thursday April 1, 2010 CATA has publically released the long-awaited construction bid documents for the Intermodal Administration Facility project. This project has recently received a commitiment of over $2,500,000 of various Federal, State and Local grants to complete the construction. All interested contractors should visit the CATA website at www.catabus.org for more information and instructions on how to obtain a CD soft copy of our bid package.

Starting Monday April 5th CATA will begin to transform the intersection of Water and Pine Streets in downtown Meadville by starting the demolition of two vacant houses that will pave the way for our new home! 2010 is shaping up to be an exciting year for CATA. We will be launching a new “Construction page” of our website where you can see regular updates on our project and literally watch as we transform our little corner of Meadville into the new CATA Intermodal Administration facility!
